Re: Reboot
Be careful with opening this site. My Avast virus scanner blocked a Trojan horse hidden in this website.
"UNDERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" is how far you take the fence with you.

Re: Reboot
Not a sequel or a prequel? A part of me has just died. Sigh....

Re: Reboot
If FURY ROAD is not a prequel or a sequel, it does not make sense to keep the character of Max Rockatansky. Miller could create a new hero but he did not do it. A commercial choice? Not sure. But this choice is almost ridiculous.

This is exactly what I said they were doing, so I'm not surprised.

Re: Reboot
From and artistic point of view they probably don't want to be held down by continuity. Trekkies foam at the mouth when all that has come before it is abandoned. Doing a reboot clears them of that. also, i doubt Miller has watched Road Warrior since he finished editing it.P.F. wrote:If FURY ROAD is not a prequel or a sequel, it does not make sense to keep the character of Max Rockatansky. Indeed, I'd say it's an artistic and commercial decision. Miller clearly isn't interested in making a cult movie here, he wants a blockbuster, so to turn profit it's going to have to be bigger and more sensational than ever.aussie muscle wrote:From and artistic point of view they probably don't want to be held down by continuity. Re: Reboot
If this is true, which it very much seems to be...
It made me lose all interest in Fury Road. If it has no connection to Mad Max, we might as well stop calling it MM4.
In a way that's a good thing because it's not trying to ruin the original franchise, but tries to start a new one. Bless them, I hope the movie does well.

Not a cult movie, but a fucking blockbuster, like an indigestible big cake... After 27 years of waiting, I cant' believe it.MWFV8 wrote:Indeed, I'd say it's an artistic and commercial decision.
