I was listening to the audio comments of the Mad Max 1 dvd and at the begining, Bridge and Eggby ask themselves about the meaning of the greek paint on the bunker...
Eggby say something like 'it's something about anarchy I guess"...
But what's the real meaning ?
I think the writing is this : "TAMIΣOU EAAAΣ"
Maybe it can be written like this : TA MI ΣOU EAΣ
or like that : "ΤΑ ΜΗ ΣΟΥ εας" which means "this is not your zone" !

If you look carefully during the night riders crash with the trailer, there are japanese (or chinese) type symbols written on the boxes on the trailer.
There seems to be a lot of hidden messages in the film.
We see a hand written note about methane? on the window of the XP wagon at Fat Nancys...
Also see one of the bikers "jesus christ on the cross" pose on top of the door way at May's house....

hum hum, new mysteries, I'm looking about this !
Anywayn, the greek sentences and the origins of Miller couldn't be fortuitous !
"Also see one of the bikers "jesus christ on the cross" pose on top of the door way at May's house...."
Yes, it look like he want to imitate a swastika too !

I was once told by some one that speaks Greek that the bottom word in the graffiti is "HELLAS", which is basically "GREECE", and that the graffiti itself is the equivalent of "FUCK GREECE". Basically just some graffiti that was on the bunker - not put there by the filmmakers.

I think the right spelling is: ΓAMIΣOU EΛAAΣ (GAMISOU ELAAS)
This means: F**K YOU!

The bottom word looks like someone used A's for their Lambdas Λ (L) and I would agree it was Spelling Hellas (Greece) in Greek. It would appear to be an insult towards the nation itself.

Yes, finally it seemed that it means "f*ck off Greece"
