My go at MM2 costume

Post by Max59 »

Lurking here for over a month, hope I get this post right. Have to thank Max Replica, HUMVEE Driver among others here on their research and tutorials. Most expensive and time consuming costume I've tackled. I told my wife about the websites dedicated to Max costuming and she said we are all sick, LOL. Here's what I have so far. Aiming for a Mad Max/Fallout 3 Halloween party date. I've had to cut some corners but I'm shooting for 'camera ready'.

Yup, looking good. I'm always interested to see what people are able to do on a budget.

Thanks for the comments! Got my Sam Browne rig done. Used a cop belt and built the rest. Axe handle is a rake handle I bought at Home Depot (should have shaped the metal but already had put the nail in). Had Santee Welding make the spanner.

Gave a local leather worker HUMVEE Driver pics of his pouches. In the the time it takes you can make it yourself.

Nice work! Great craftsmanship. You had the spanner welded from scratch? Wow.

Maybe you could do a run of the spanner wrench... ;) You could put me down for one, depending on price of course :D
