And I'm liking what I'm seeing, and also what I'm hearing from Miller. "All the vehicles are a hybrid, cobbled together from wrecks of the past. They have to be high performance because the film will be shot at speed. The reason why this movie is so big is because it's got just a huge number of stunts, and we're trying to do stuff that I believe people haven't done before. That's why we're taking so long to build them. It'll take a year to build all the vehicles, and they have to be really, really top vehicles."

First look at Mad Max: Fury Road vehicles being built!
Re: First look at Mad Max: Fury Road vehicles being built!
Oh, yeah. If someone could capture that video before it disappears, that would be great. Post it to Youtube if possible. Also, maybe get a screenshot of the vehicle shown at the very beginning and put it up here as well. Thanks.
Re: First look at Mad Max: Fury Road vehicles being built!
Okay, here's a couple of screen captures. Sorry, video quality was poor.
Re: First look at Mad Max: Fury Road vehicles being built!
That would be the last of the V8 interceptors... the first one the Doctor had his hands all over. But, other than a flashback that car should remain lost. Lost because it was the last of it's kind. Bringing it back would be a mistake, and a great injustice to the character. Because I feel the car was indeed that. Tool of vengeance, kept him going in the wasteland, and ultimately gave it's life to save it's caretaker.
But I see there are holes drilled in the place of the headlights which could indicate the "rebirth" of the Last V8. A new build by some backwater mechanic, inspired by an encounter with the Road Warrior. Or perhaps... perhaps... That little kid built it to honor a man long forgotten... Only to find that man again when the need arises. Perhaps Paradise did not remain Paradise indefinitely.
Ah hell... perhaps they could bring her back. But it has to be one damn good story... All eggs are in one basket... If they fall or remain intact has to be seen. But that second car, a low slung coupe with a massive looking engine is promising. Same for the words that the movie will be shot at speed, and with a lot of stunts. Keep true to the old way of doing things. Yes, people could get hurt doing real stunts, but the stuntmen and woman would not have it any other way. They're thrill seekers. And it's their involvement that made Max 1 and Max 2 epic!

WOW..... highspeed action!!!???
Means real stunts.... hopefully no CGI!!
And the Interceptor? Well it has mesh where the light covers normally go... and im guessing itll have a distressed look about it.
Remember.... The "Last of the V8 Interceptors" means more then one was built!
The remnants of the MFP ????????
Im beginning to have some faith restored....

Yup... also on mine... and I jacked them too without asking... I am such a dog...
I could have made the caps myself, but now I am just lazy... I did put the sepia tone my website is known for over it though... guess I am not that lazy... I'll post my take on this (based on the post I made above, but a little more elaborate) either tonight or tomorrow.
