Some questions about Johnny the Boy.

1. What was he? Why was he in the gang in the first place? Obviously, Bubba didn't much prefer him. The other members of the gang basically ignored him with the exception of Toecutter. Like when Max forced Johnny's vehicle off the side of the road, the other bikers just ditched him (Toecutter wasn't present). Mudguts even gave some kind of a signal, as if to dismiss Johnny as some kind of chump. So, what exactly was Johnny's role or purpose in the gang?
2. Some people would seem to argue that Johnny wasn't entirely to blame for Goose's death. Just because he was reluctant to set the ute on fire with Goose inside. Well, what about when Johnny tampered with the brakes on Goose's bike? Or when he threw the drum at the ute? I call that attempted murder. Anyway, whether he wanted to kill Goose or not, Johnny was a major screw-up who probably couldn't distinguish right from wrong. Later in the film, he even went as far as to blame his own behavior on his psychosis.
3. In the scene where Toecutter and his gang harass Jesse just outside of the ice cream shop, there is just one thing I noticed. Johnny wasn't there. At least, I couldn't see him. However, there are several possibilities. Maybe it was he who was doing some legwork alongside the Toecutter while Mudguts and Starbuck (the guy with the beard) were spying on Jesse and Sprog. I say this because only two of the gang's core members wore beige pants. However, Johnny didn't wear boots. So, it must've been Diabando (the guy with the long blond hair) doing some legwork. Perhaps Johnny was working in the ice cream shop, only to have the gang harass her outside the shop. Maybe he was asleep.
4. Does it seem weird how only six bikers are seen riding after Jesse and Sprog get mowed down? When clearly seven bikers approach them just before the deed. I know it was Johnny who wasn't visible after the deed but maybe his view was obstructed by Mudguts (who was riding just behind him). Also, Cundalini wasn't among the seven bikers.
5. Did Johnny really deserve his fate in the end?
