I know it doesn't appear to be Mad Max-related at first, but just listen closely to the sound:

You can tell they aren't real cars because they don't have any drivers.

The other sound effects are lifted from Steve McQueens "Bullit"....
Must be a pretty big model (rail) set ?

very good "little" production !

Well done. Impressive stop action work. As the resident model train guy I was really enjoying his layout. He did a great job of shooting from different angles and going different directions through the same scene to make it appear to be much bigger than it is. Of course the attention is on the cars so you don't notice the scene being recycled.

Ah, clever use of After Effects (for the effects) and killer stop motion work...

The sounds are indeed very obvious.

I thought that was posted here before? A year ago I wrote to the guy that made it (I believe lives in Germany) and complimented him on it. I asked him about the sounds and he said from US edition of Mad Max since the sounds of the cars were amped up compared to the original soundtrack. I think the video was shorter then, I could be wrong, but he did an amazing job editing this, as well as shooting. I loved it.
