Do you reckon George Miller is a member of this board and checks it daily.
He's probably taking all of our ideas and compiling a script from bits and pieces.
Dream on, but seriously he could be on here under a funky name.
Come on George , reveal yourself....LOL

Somehow I doubt it. He may have an assistant to an assistant that checks on these things occasionally but it is highly unlikely that he looks at these sites himself. Even though Emil has been spared an onslaught of rabid fan questions I don't think the same would be true for George. IF he were here and IF he made his presence known he would be questioned on ever single nuance of all three films. I'm sure he's aware of this site, I believe it is the best Mad Max site on the web. Does he care what we think? I wouldn't hazard to guess or try to put words in his mouth. Short of mentioning us in an interview we may never know.

It certainly make sense to listen to the fans regardless of what film. But all to often it's about appealing to the mass market and selling it to people that DON'T know what it is, rather than pleasing the hardcore fans. We'll spend our money to see it no matter what, it's like money in the bank. New viewers is where they make the big bucks and after all, that's what the movie business is all about. The Punisher discussion highlights that fact also. I believe it is possible to do both. Create a new film with continuity to the original which will please the hardcore/rabid fans, and still be marketable to a new audience demographic. It would be quite flattering to think they actually are interested in what we think and what direction we would like to see it go. I'm not sure WE have a consensus on what we'd like to see, but they could definitely take a p-piece from here and a p-p-piece from there.
IF we knew for sure that they were watching, would it change the way we present our ideas? Or do you think the way we discuss the films now would convey our ideas best?
I personally think they will get a better feel of what we want by being a silent fly on the wall, without even registering an ID. No need to post when they can just read what we have to say.

I severely doubt that he or any of his staff look at anything on this board.
Directors like Zac Snyder (300, Watchmen) Chris Nolan (Batman Begins & The Dark Knight) are fanboys that got to make big budget adaptions of their favorite heroes. They grew up with the internet, were fans of movie/comic gossip sites and conventions like ComicCon etc. The new school directors understand the internet craving for discussion and conjecture about their movies and source material. That's why Watchmen for example has such a significant online / convention presence.
Miller is of the old school.
Not only because of questions of legals intellectual property-
BUT I have heard that he has a very healthy distain for the intense MM fanaticism...
Did you ever hear the one about the guy who parked his V8 interceptor outside the KM offices for weeks on end?
That went down r-e-a-l well...
I am a huge fan of MM but there is a lot of obsessive behavior exhibited here that ... is just creepy.
(Before anyone bites back - I am not specifically referring to this thread).
What must the good Doctor- who dreamt all this up think of it..?
