I have deleted the 'let me introduce myself' thread as it was just plain silly and judging by the 'newbies' web link it was nothing but spam and a waste of our time. Any further postings by any newbies that do not post a proper e-mail addy in their profile will get deleted also. We've all had enough of the bullsh*t here and it's time to clean house.

I'm in the middle of working on something to help keep things normal here so hang in there folks. I'm suggesting that ALL members must provide a legit e-mail addy in their profile to be able to post and those who refuse to do so will just get any postings deleted. random checks will be made by myself and Sam to verify these e-mails.

LMK your thoughts people.

THX, Doug

Indeed good to hear.

When I joined this forum I entered my e-mail adress into my profile but choose the option to hide it. I get enough spam mail already. Not that some bonehead joines up here for searching e-mail adresses to send spam. I assume that the moderators can see my e-mail adress. Otherwise let me know.

Good idea, but just a word of warning...

On the AussieStreetfighters site/forum we all got spammed by someone who used the 'send an email' link. The usual 'help me bring money in Nigeria' type thing

The webmaster set up summat so you couldn't send email/pm until you had made at least 10 posts. And he creates websites for a living so it was already pretty secure.
