It looks like Abbyshot is ready to go with their Mad Max replica jacket. They only have one picture of it; but I think it looks dead on.

Is it just me or does the shoulder armor look too small? Doug...?

So how many people ordered a jacket? I picked up one for my wife and one for me. I amazed the board is so quiet.

Norma and I are ordering two. They did a real good job on the jacket.

Yup, just one for now. Breaking open the piggy bank and turning in all my bottles. The one thing I noticed is there doesn't seem to be a badge tab. Hopefully it's an unlisted option.

I'd rather have the badge tab left off, because you can buy rare-earth magnets that would hold it in place and not poke holes in the leather. Same with the MFP "marksmanship" sleeve badge. The only one I'd consider full-time is the MFP4073...leaving the others off for "off duty" wearing.
I had a 85% (Doug?) correct jacket made that left the pauldrans off, but has the expansions in the back shoulders for better movement (which I didn't really want). One person came up to me at Autorama and asked if it was the movie jacket. He then saw the Aussie Ford Falcon Club hat with all of the Falcon/74 Ford/460/MFP marksmanship badge pins on it and put the two together as Max-related. Then when he found out I had a car, the questions ran on for five minutes or so...kinda cool meeting someone off the street who's a fan...just like being in Best Buy and looking at a movie, overhearing the woman next to you say "Ooo look, Mad Max, great flick" to her husband (grr), then him seeing my AFFC club shirt and commenting quietly to her, I turned to look at her and smiling, I told them a "You might be a Max fan if..." comment, setting off another ten minute chat.
The fans, they're out there.

The MM jacket and gloves arrived today and the craftsmanship is awesome! I highly recommend purchasing Abbyshot's merchandise. Both the jacket and gloves fit & looks great and the leather is of the highest quality. The photos on the site actually don't do enough credit to both items. Additionally, the shipment was fast and effortless.
Now, as for the placement of the two badges and pin. Doug, you're the expert, so do you have any measurements on the them or did you just wing it?

Mark ,
thats great to know that your happy with them. I know your standards are high. So if your extremely pleased I know I will be. What size did you get for the jacket and gloves? I got a 44 and the biggest gloves they had for myself and a 36 and med. glove for Jenny. So where's the pics of you and the Bob with your MFP uniform? If anyone asks me why I have them I'll tell that my car is a plain clothes MFP vehicle LOL.
