Just bought the unrated director's cut DVD:
This shot wasn't in the theatrical. Also the film has shades of Beyond Thunderdome.

Whaddya mean mate? its the fourth masterpiece in the GEORGE ROMERO 'DEAD' trilogy. and after DAWN OF THE DEAD its the best.
If your farmiliar with the DEAD's - this time round the dead have basically taken over earth, forcing humans into small city's surrounded with barrier's or rivers. they're carrying on with life basically ignoring the 'problem' (ROMERO always likes to have some kind of social commentary in these movies - NIGHT was the civil rights movements of the 60's, DAWN was the disco loving 70's covered in consumerism, as long as you got a shopping mall, everythings all right, DAY was the trigger happy Raegan era's military wrong mindedness - in LAND its a dig at the BUSH sdministration and ignoring the problem, living with terrorism).
A little nobody zombie killer steals a giant awesome nuclear weapon armoured 'BATTLE TRUCK' called DEAD RECKONING, and holds the human city ransom aiming RECKONING's cannons at it, threatening to blow it up unless paid a huge sum of money.
Then 3 other Zombie killers (including the gorgeous ASIA ARGENTO) have to get DEAD RECKONING back, they do all this amidst a zombie attack on the city.
Its awesome i saw this damn thing 4 times before it ended at my local cinema.

I bought the movie last nite and it was good not as good as dawn of the dead tho and you notice that that dude Simon Pegg from Shaun of the dead was one of the zombies chained up in that bar .And i wonder since the dead were relearining what they were when they were alive how far would they evolve?that black dud that was the zombie leader remembered he worked as a gas station owner plus he leanred how to use a weapon again.also by that time well after dawn of the dead in certain parts of the united states and the rest of the world the dead would just rot away to nothing especialy here in South Florida as Rocka you woulda gotten a kick outta these pics my bro showed me of this dude who died weeks before his 'stench'finally let everyone know what happened to him as i doubht he'd be able to get around and walk as he was a f**ked up rotted mess and this was in July .

Yeah BART, ROMERO loved SHAUN DEAD so much that he gave the two makers of it cameo's in LAND as zombies.
Did you see SAVINI hard at work? HA! that made me almost cheer out loud in the theatre, seems when he fell into that fountain in DAWN, he musta just got bitten, not eaten. GREG NICOTERO, the head of KNB. and SAVINI's old protege had a cameo as a zombie too, he was the one at the bridge that got its head wrenched off by the bridge coming down.
