Ok guys, i am new here, so first, Hi.


I watched "Mad Max II" for the first time, few years ago, i was very young. And it turned into a very good memory inside my brain. Some weeks ago i found the movies to buy, so i bought they all and so on.





Well this topic is about the moment you will never forget about mad max, even when you turn into a walking coffin owner, you will remenber that moment, someone may even say to you "MAD MAX?!?!" and you answer "WHAT ASS?!", but that moment... you will never forget.





Mine is a funny one, Mad Max is a great series, and i have the second movie in my mind, from the start till the end.


But my unforgettable moment is from mad max 1. When the Toecutter Gang find that couple, and after some scenes, the cops find a Man running with his ass red of blood, that moment was hylarious, i will never forget it.

PS: Does anybody know where i can find mad max scripts? i just found an early draft of mad max 2 on the web, and the scripts page of this site is off, thanks!!

Dude, your absolutely right, noone ever forgets MAD MAX, down here where i live its mainly MAD MAX 2. even friends of mine who are staunch STARWARS fans still really respect MAD MAX.


And you should see how many strangers come up to you, fi your wearing a MAD MAX tshirt or something and comment on it, i went into my local Model shop with my first PLANET X INTERCEPTOR model back in late 2000, cause i wanted to but paints and suitanle sh*t for it, and as soon as i took it out of its box and showed my mate behind the counter, atleast 4 guys came up and asked me where i got it, most of these guys were just 'Rev Heads' didn't care about the movie, one guy even offering to give me $200 for it right there in the shop - that car gets people going.

The first time the camera pans up to show Wez on his bike at Lookout point.


When Max has just been ran over by Bubba...his determination for revenge builds in his eyes.....





those moments I remember.

crazy look in Toecutter`s eyes when he blasts off the shottie at the beach, like this is one dude you do NOT f**k around with

..the very first time Max pulled up the red knob on the gear splitter switch to activate the blower.....I was HOOKED......

For me, the opening shot of the blower in MM2, pulling back to reveal Max driving for his life.


And when Max steps out of the cab of the tanker while driving and blasts the driver of the red car.


On the funny side, I love when Toadie finds out how sharp the Feral Kid's boomerang is.

I always loved that Blower shot too, but i mainly liked how the naration ends, and we fly down onto a dirty grainy highway, no matter which naration you listen to

or the LOST VERSION "... that the fire that burns in the heart of man, will endure, hope survives"


They both chill ya to the bone, and you wait fo the shot that follows and the look of determination yet calm on MAX's face, and that steady growl of the motor at high speed.

the bit where max pulls out after the tanker when the toecutters crew are milking it.brake lights flicker off,idle out, cool as you like.

The whole of this scene I will never forget: When Max stumbles out of the meat wagon, steadying himself on Feral, whilst Papagallo briefs everyone on the plan, holding Max's shotgun.. After the whole "If it's all the same to you, I'll drive that tanker" speech, I dig the look in Papagallo's eyes, when Max grabs him and says "I'm the best chance you've got." Papagallo looks at him like he's a f*cking nutcase and just surrenders the shells and the gun with this disbelieving look in his eyes. Pure class.

The opening shot from MM2 from high up and the camera pans down to the roaring V-8. When I watch that scene I "crank it up" NASCAR-style.
