If you were George Miller would you want somebody to screw with your masterpiece? I have produced movies and written musical scores for plays and stage for about 22 years in Minneapolis and St. Paul area and I guess I would be pissed if my stuff was changed w/o my approval. I still wanna know WHO changed the audio. Some folks don't understand art. No reason to get nasty just looking for an answer.

all righty then......go and buy a copy of the recent release. Both versions are on this DVD. Watch them both and let us know which version you prefer. Most of us outside of Australia had to watch the only version available to us which was the US dubbed version and also had no knowledge that it had been dubbed. When the special edition was released in 01/02 I felt like I was seeing the movie for the first time. I'm sure Miller agreed to have the movie dubbed in order for it to be released in North America back in the late 70's....just think that if he had not agreed.......I might be building a replica of the flinstones car instead!!

The voices in Godzilla movies match lip movements better..

Didn't you have a source for the movie correct oversized Fred Flintstone feet? I managed to locate the log siderails, but only in simulated wood grain. The stone rollers are readily available in both limestone NOS and repro concrete. The mammothskin ragtop is pricey, and I'm not sure if I wanna do the pre drive-in movie intact top or get a used one and do it like in the scene where Dino rips through the roof.

I have the simulated rack of dino ribs, but the brontoburger castings haven't come out as well as I'd hoped. Still have some work to do on the seam lines.

Should come together pretty well, though. I'm wondering what class to enter in at Carlisle next year. Maybe with the American Falcons. They're pretty primitive and are as close to dinosaurs as anything else there...

f**k yeah, i've watched the US. version, and i sat there wondering if you guys actually knew the movie was dubbed before given the information, it was pretty obvious.

But Mitch...How do you keep the axle in when you get on it from a light? Also, doesn't the front suspension come out with the roller when you back up as well?

5.7: Be sure to set the parking feet when you leave the Flintmobile in the garage. you don't want to come out to a flattened Falcy, do you?

Jay,

I have the aftermarket urethane retaining bushings. Much better than the wrapped vine setup that came original in these cars. Before the swap, I had to be careful that the rollers didn't pull out. The original vines were so worn that I was afraid to really accelerate or even corner hard. Now it handles fine, but like the Gossie, is due for a major restoration. I was thinking of getting one of those really early model giant tortoise shell 'Vettes, but I have too many projects as it is...

Oh, OK. Sorry for the confusion. I thought you we're using Velociraptor sinue to keep everything tied together. Have you tried the T-Rex-brand snow rollers complete with the teeth for added grip? I think they're made in North-western Colorado, next to the Utah border at that big excavation site. You'll also need the mammoth shoes for good cold-weather acceleration and braking without the fear of freezing all ten of the brake pads. Lastly, wher'd you get that killer Granite Industries steering wheel (Stone model B.C.838) complete with the wood-grained steering column...too cool!

...hey guys, I found this one in the " boneyard" and I'm looking for a new top , possibly a switch to a convertible.....who does N.O.S OEM stuff, anybody ?..any suggestions?.........

Try Granite Industries, Rockwood International Limited, Woody's 'R' Us, Skinner Toppers...they should all be easily found next to the dead-sea scrolls written on the stone-net. You might have to get a carving to translate Neanderthal though. Any parts before the Triassic era should work. I'll ask our guy Howard here. He worked for BC motors back then...You gotta hand it to those Egyptians...they mummified him 3500 years ago, and he's still around.
