Folks,

Just bought a copy of Top Gear Magazine, on page 54 they give a preview of whats in next months edition.

(right handside of the page) Under a picture of Max draggin Jonny to the Yellow XB they say that as part of the Mad Max 25th anniversary celebrations they'll be testing the Interceptors....

There's only one BoB Interceptor in UK... Mr Bennett??

Billy, however they're testing them i don't think it will be in the uk. These articles are done well in advance, Street Machine featured Gordon's BoB a few years back yet it was an old article already featured in oz.

I'm intrigued myself Billy, I don't think there is anyone in the UK directly connected to the mad max scene who could offer any info for an article on the interceptors, would they want anyone from the UK to talk about Ozzy cars in an Ozzy movie? unless of course they've visited the museum at Keswick for some info and photos.

I'm pretty sure there'll be nothing to do with the UK in the article, it may just be a road test between a coupe and sedan, but you never know!!!

I think MadMax2050 is gonna grab me a copy of it, as we fly out to OZ on the 5th of March, so i'll have to wait a couple of weeks to find out exactly what the article is about.

If it's the article I think it is, then at least part of the photo shoot was done here in Melbourne, using Black & Yellow Interceptors, out at the locations. I was interviewed for it, but I've not seen the final article and don't know who else they might have interviewed as well, or whether they managed to photograph anything else.

It's a good article and some great photos I'll scan it in over the weekend for anyone that's interested.

BTW, for anyone interested, the bob used is the 'back to the max' Interceptor but with the full Monza nosecone...
