A van with the typically Peter Arcadipane front end. This is the version, Max had on his BoB.
I could probably make it on my own, but I like you kids.

Yes I know. It came out BEFORE Arcadipane. The details of the pic above are as follows:


"....XC Falcon show van, commissioned by FoMoCo for the 1977 Melbourne Motor Show. It was created for Ford by a guy called Sam Midgely who then owned a specialist design house called Showcars Unlimited. After the show circuit the panel van was stripped of its bodykit and sold off into obscurity."

FalconGTHO it says "commissioned by FoMoCo" right. Now at the time Peter was a designer at Ford. Sam may have done the fabrication work but he did not design the vehicle, it was designed by Peter, hence why it is called the Arcadipane nose.


This vehicle eventually lead to Peter and Ford having a nasty parting of the ways but I guess he had the ultimate revenge as he is now a designer in Europe for Merc-Benz!
