this is either going to die out or start one helluva fight, but what country is better to live in? obviously, people who have been to both would be preferable to give opinions, ive only been in the US but i do know that there are a lot of fat pepole here who are stupid and ignorant and that seems to be a uniquely american thing, so if australia was diffierent id be down for going there.

anyway, just your thoughts, even if it doesnt tie in directly to max.

I'm desperate to visit Australia and it's people. Judging by the folks on the board, you guys are as great as I have heard. However, some of Australias laws would make me seriously reconsider living there. Two things I care deeply about are illegal: Heavily modified cars, and personal gun ownership. The car one really gets me. To live in Oz, but be prohibited from driving a BoB is criminal.

i haven't been to australia or usa, but Australia is on my "places i want to wisit" list. And australia might be one of the few countrys i want to live in ( exept for lithuania and germany. I have been learning german for like 10 years now and i don't think i did it just for fun). Talking about laws you can't dirve a car if the wheels on the other side here, so i couldn't even get an australian falcon O_o .Now all i need to do is get some $, wich might be a little problem. Both Countries have their pros and cons some may think of USA as a bunch of hamburger eating warmongers or as Aussies as boomarang tossing guys who wear thier shorts to high Image LOL J/K i dig OZ and if i wasn't deathly afraid to fly i'd visit there but like Mister T says in the A Team"i aint gettin on no plane Hannibal"But you'll get no true and definite answer to your question on which country is the best ,becuase which ever IS best is only to the person who thinks so and is not set in stone.

Fat stupid and ignorant are far from an exclusively American trait.

(Although certain American fast food holes seem to be trying to increase the national obesity average.)

Personally, as much as I'd like to visit some other countries, I doubt I'd want to emmigrate.

Australia, I'm told, is WAY too hot for my tastes (I'm happiest at anywhere from 16 to 24C)

England's to "bloody" pretentious and Norway... Just don't speak my language.Image

I've been told that Tasmania & New Zealand would be more to my liking..

What's THEIR weather like?

And their Automotive equipment restrictions and weapon restrictions.

Amoung other things, I collect Swords

(They can take my Replica 1050AD Gotland Viking broadsword from my cold dead fingers)

Er... No offense intended to the English members of this board.

Or to the English in general. Image

Most of my net time is spent at a board who's population is mostly English.

I get used to poking fun at them, and they at me...

SCREWLOOSE: You can make engine mods, as long as they don't alter the stock appearance. basicaly any deviation from stock is illegal. the BoB's blower, wheels & tires, etc, are all no-no's. As for those mags, you can build and own a radical machine, you just can't (legally) drive it anywhere. Race or show only. :(

They're fairly similar in culture. It's a hard call. I think both have good and bad points. I've been to the US, loved the people, but my heart's here.

So, i'd say it depends where your heart is.

...and for me, that's Australia.
