Bit of a rip off??

As a rule, I try to avoid the sh*tty american "teen angst through the medium of vampires" series BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER. The bar staff at my favourite pub (the exchange for anyone who knows bradford) normally get a visit every time that dodgy program is on, but recently I've been skint and had to stay in. Now if anyone has seen the series, theres some guy called spike. He's a baddie and his whole polite/cool demenor before he kills you without breaking a sweat seems to have been lifted wholesale from Bubba Zinetti. Maybe I'm wrong, but thats what it seems like from a brief watching.





Anyone else think so??

Yeah, I made that reference a couple months ago, and some agreed, a few disagreed. But I totally see the similarities. More of a character type than a plagarism, though.

I fukkin hate the show, but recently i was at a friends house and was forced to watch it as it was the only thing on the tv, and the damn show refered to THUNDERDOME (I think i pointed this out in another post elsewhere.

Another guy with similarities with Bubba is the T1000 (Robert Patrick) in TERMINATOR 2. The same cold face, the same politeness, nearly identical reactions ... if the T1000 wears a cop uniform, Bubba's outfit is close to the bronze!


Also not a plagiarism but a strange coincidence.
