Badges...what stinkin' badges?

Was watching Mad Max (1) the other night when I noticed for the first time that all the MFP have a badge on their right sleeve up near the shoulder. Roop's badge can be seen rather clearly at the very beginning when he's watching the couple through his scope at the very beginning...it appears to be small,white rectangular with some kind of device in black on it.Charlie's badge is small and circular and looks to have some kind of rings drawn on it.And I think the Gooses has the same badge as Charlie.Fifi has two badges,one rectangular and one circular and both appear to be a different design.Later on when they are holding Johnny the Boy while awaiting a jury verdict,Charlie has two badges as well.And Max hinself has one small circular one.

Now my qustion is this....does anyone know anything about this or has a good pic of these badges? And had anyone ever made any of these props?

MFP Japan have decals of the badges available on their site. They also have complete 'Goose' replica 'Kwaka' sticker sets.

the only extra badge FIFI has is a big number 1. obviously identifying his rank. But he's got all the others , which seem to be like scope crosshairs or something, i've often wondered myself.

Howdy again, Rocky.

I've got a friend over in Australia who's friend made up a few of those badges that Max wears and they turned out pretty good. I tried to get him to let me make them in large number like campaign buttons, but he never got back to me. I've still got the picture he sent me saved if anybody wants to see. It's a blue and white target with crosshairs and the letters MFP in red at the top. The badge Roop is wearing is rectangular as was said before and has a large black four-leaf clover on it with some writing beneath in. There was a drawing on Peter's site, but I don't know what's going on with the site, so bugger it.

Just have a look when Roop is peeping through his rifle scope the badge is VERY clearly visible in this scene. It's not a clover or crosshairs, just a geometric design. Someone should make them up in quantity anyway.

Yeah i agree INTERDICTOR, its some kind of a propellor looking thing.
