It's a tragic and impossible love story.
I've been saying this since 2015.

Praetorian Jack was a "Proto-Max" in Furiosa's mind and heart.
Max saved Furiosa in 2052. This means that Max recognized her in 2060 (FR), but didn't do anything about it. That's because Max was fleeing away from his own humanity. As always.

Are you sure Max saved Furiosa in 2052? All we know is that somebody is dragging her across the ground before she wakes up in that charnel house.
And what was that charnel house supposed to be? Somebody here said it was cannibals? But it seemed to me like it was a member of the wretched using maggots to clean and debride Furiosa's wounds, so I was thinking maybe that old lady was supposed to be what passes for a nurse or a medicine woman among the wretched.
If she was not a cannibal, and if she was, in fact, trying to help Furiosa, I would like to think it was Max who brought Furiosa to her. But the film does not show that happening.
I mean, Max had a car. He would not have had to drag her across the ground.
Also, I didn't quite catch what that woman said to Furiosa after she woke up and the woman was trying to stop Furiosa from leaving.
Did you catch the dialogue? What did she say?

Didn't meant to come across as harsh. Sorry. If you rewatch the film, you can deduct what happened.

What happened, though? What is your interpretation of those scenes?
