Hi all, this is my journey with the 1/24 Aoshima Mad Max Intercerptor.
I was lucky enough to obtain 1(now 4) of these kits some time ago but wanted to do the car from the first movie.
Once again I was lucky there was an upgrade kit on ebay. About five years plus went by and I (once again) looked at the parts I have accumulated over time and started the build... The more I worked on it the the worse it looked, don't get me wrong its a nice kit and there are some awesome builds out there, but after owning two coupes (XA & XC) in my late teens and early twenties I was a big fan of the car. In fact it was Mad Max that inspired to have own them (when they were cheap).
Back to the kit, I found the body too flat on the roof and other small anomalies and I thought I can fix this...... Moving forward well I can't. The more I worked with it the less I liked it, project shelved. Again some time later... enter the world of 3D printing so down the rabbit hole I go and I'm taken this kit with me... It still has great parts in there.
First-have mesh of XB coupe, learn software and then start and body upgrades.what have I started...

I would love to see one in 1/12,1/8 or even better-1/6 scale!

That sound great but I'd need a bigger printer...
Some more updates.
