1/6 Toecutter

I initially started this project as mine when one of my cats, Kitty Meow was diagnosed with kidney failure- 2 weeks to live.

I took a month off from my depressing soul crashing day job in order to be with him. I did not want to wonder at work how he was doing at home or even left me already. I had worked on it while I had him on my lap or near by till his last day on this planet. After he left, I lost all the motivation to work on this. I have not sculpted much of anything other than his urn and small stuff.... So this project sat on my shelf.

Now it is almost anniversary of Kitty Meow’s passing (10/16/2018). I am trying to complete this statue in his memory.









Below is the current stage. Took this pic in front of Kitty Meow's urn, which I also sculpted.


Any criticism or suggestions re always welcome. Thanks for looking. I will update this thread every few days or so.

Put several hours adjusting the pose and started to add some details.

Not as much pain as Goose's boots but still... A lot more to go on these.


I worked on the fur thing on his back then realized made the his body too thick.

I had to shave off his girth… Then had to adjust everything accordingly. That took pretty much all morning.

Size check with Jimmy the Goose statue that I did long time ago.

No I don't mind those pictures posted at your Mad Max page. This sculpt is not commissioned by collectors like other Mad Max related sculpts I did in the past but I am planning to make it into a kit, produced by me. Anyway, I thought about getting the Kali statue on his met digitally sculpted and print it out but so tiny; would not have been cost effective so kinda winged it…. Not much more than a "suggestion"


Also Planning to have him hold this thing in his left hand. Gonna scratch build with styrene sheets. I will have to scratch build his goggles, too as I couldn’t find decent existing 1/6 goggles that look like his…

I will do some more tuning on Kali. Debating to have option of shotgun as well. But who knows...

Spent a few hours making the goggles.

put wax sheet on the met so that apoxie will not stick to it. Made the mistake when I made Ripley bust...


after Apoxie is cured, the putty is removed and sanded. Used my own goggles for size reference. I think Toecutter's goggles are Halcyon one tho.


Cut out styrene sheets for lenses and frames. I score the lenses and bent to have the angle.

I know they don't look too good, but after putty is cured, sanded and primed, they will look better, I promise. I am planning to use ribbon for the strap for the finial piece.

Scratch building the cleaver. Realized I made it bit too small. I was lied by a picture of the prop on internet.

Thankfully HallsofJustice PMed me a picture of the actual prop and measurement while I was remaking the cleaver. I still have to adjust the length of the handle but getting closer. I played with the helmet and goggles. Planning to make bunch of hardware, likes of belt buckles, handles of the knife he got in his boots and what not for this sculpt this week.

Since the last set of pics, I have adjusted his height, shape of the met and detailed the boots. I have been working on his belt and pouches.



Does anyone have good images of two pouches on his right side? Or what they are based on? I know the far left one is 1956 US army ammo pouch.... Any help is appreciated!
