MFP Garage Cars?

Hi I’m new to the forum.
I was watching the orgininal MM again, and I noticed other cars, parked in the MFP garage, in the scene where max meets the pursuit special.
I know the other yellow cars are Big Bopper and March Hare, and that the Nightrider’s Monaro is in the foreground, with a light bar on the roof:
But there are cars covered in black sheets, with white writing on them. What’s the deal with them?
There is also a weird white car with jets, which looks like this:
It looks like one of the cars made to break the land speed record, but what’s it doing as a prop in a low-budget Australian film?
