Unreleased Mad Max: The Asylum PS2 game 1999

Post by Get the bullet »

Great read about how Australian software company Melbourne House started to make a Mad Max game trying to convince Miller to give them the rights back in 1999 for PlayStation 2.
Who was the consultant with the Mad Max site?

Aww, that sounds like such a missed opportunity!

Cool, I love info about games that never came to be. Those images having such a Road Warrior look also makes me sad for what might have been. The new game was alright but I'll never be as big a fan of the Fury Road universe.

I'm intrigued by the 3rd render.
With the exhaust routed over the roof?
(Maybe its a cage).
Thats kind of RW goth.

And the last one appears to be an AMC AMX/Javalin.
Which isn't Australian, but a nice muscle car detail.
