Happy new year to one and all! So far i have seen 88 releases from 2015. The list is still growing though. My top 5 for the year would probably be:

1. Mad Max: Fury Road (3D)
2. Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation
3. Pan (3D)
4. Terminator: Genisys (3D)
5. The Walk (3D)

I've enjoyed so much last year, it was a great year for movies. Of course there was never any doubt as to what would be the best of the year!

Even though we didn't get John Wick here in the UK until 2015 i still count it as a 2014 release, it was definitely in my top 5 for last year! Sicario was also awesome, agreed.

i REALLY liked how close the 1984 parts were to the first movie. i'm not going to lie, because it wasnt perfect and there was a lot of stuff i wasnt a fan of; but for the most part i had more fun watching it than i did fury road. i also enjoyed sarah connor chronicles and it had pretty much the same tone.

i think another top reason why i liked it is because it wasnt turned into fuel for some stupid nonexistent agenda.

This won't even be the first time today i've had to defend my love for Terminator Genisys. I'll just post what i posted elsewhere as the reasons i loved it:

I love Arnie and it was great having him back in a huge movie
I loved Jason Clarke as John Connor
I loved the visual FX, they were mostly excellent throughout
I loved the action sequences
I absolutely loved the 3D, one of my favourite presentations of the year
I enjoyed the story and how it played with the existing timeline and mixed things up a bit instead of being a straight rehash like T3
I thought it was well paced and clipped along nicely
I enjoy sci fi action movies

Things i didn't like:

Emilia Clarke and Jai Courtney
The jokes and script could have/ should have been better
