Will Miller kill off Max in this new trilogy?

I think it might be relevant as just cant see where else the character can go after two more outings. Miller killing off Max could make sense for two reasons.
It would be very difficult for anyone else to attempt to revive the franchise outside his, Millers control and it would also allow Miller to make a clean prequel
with the young Max and Goose we all want, and I`m sure he knows we all want it. Hell, I see four door XB`s and C`s nearly every day round my area.

Yeah but think of the end of Part 1.

where on earth could he possibly go after that?
Story was over, nothing else to do with the character.

Arrested?
Suicide?
rest of the gang hunt him down?
Back to being a policeman?
Bullshit!
George miller always has more to tell and Fury Road is just beginning...

A clean prequel with new actors about a young Max and or Goose and their backstory with the MFP in Sun City, or something like that. Nothing to do with MM1 timelines so to speak. There`s a trilogy there maybe culminating in the introduction of The Toecutter Gang. wide open territory for new story canon.
I think you can only draw from the Wasteland well so many times, I reckon Millars got two more left, before it becomes unviable as a continuing cinema series unless in thirty years he or someone else starts the whole reboot thing all over again.

Miller will be dead in 30 years lol
I reckon theres enough fodder for one more I'd like to see what happens after Furiosa takes over the Citadel , the war with the remaining gangs and Max comes back to save the day in his rebirthed Interceptor ( pwease George ) cos you know thats where he was going at the end of Fury Road - back to get his car

right on! The sequel should start off right there, Max leaving the citadel wondering back into the wasteland to reclaim his car, there's still plenty of bad elements to battle left over from Fury Road, rock riders, buzzards, war boys and maybe even run across some smegma crazies, gayboy berserkers or toecutter's outlaw bikers. The buzzard's have probably already dragged all the wreckage back to their hideout to rebuild and make all spikey

to answer the original question, I think the only thing to fear is Max getting upstaged a bit in future films (if there's any more made) in favor of new characters ie Furiosa

The Rock Riders weren't a bad element, they had a deal and Furiosa screwed it up ... break a deal and face the wheel.

I'd love to see the Rock Riders picking off the last of the War Boys and nabbing their stuff, they deserve fair compensation after missing out on the guzzoline!

Thanks for actually reading the first post.
I'm all for a Furiosa movie or two but wouldnt they be spin offs and not actual Mad Max movies?

I've always heard Miller wanted to kill Max at the end of Thunderdome.
