Proximity of the canyons to The Citadel

Post by levcore »

How close do you think in real terms the canyons are to The Citadel? Obviously they have to go through a mega electric storm to get there so it's not like it's just an easy drive but i'm just curious how close/ far people think they are. Far enough that you can have a sort of rival faction who lives there but rarely clashes with warboys etc.

I reckon about 300 - 400 km based on if they left the Citadel in the morning and got thru it by late afternoon , I can drive up the east coast of oz on good roads and do 700 km in about 7 hours non stop ( except for guzzelene ) , a fully fuelled semi with dual 100 gallon tanks should do about 1600 kms

Interesting question. Of note is that the people's eater fuel is blown up so this means that the vehicle fleet has lost their biggest source. I was thinking that (outside of movie magic) many vehicles would probably have not enough fuel to drive to the citadel.

On the other hand, if most vehicles where equipped with all those extra petrol tanks to use in a kami-crazy stunt like Nux tried, they could have a lot off extra fuel with them in each car.
"UNDERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" is how far you take the fence with you.
