Called all the cinema's in Hobart today to find out THE earliest possible date and showing of FURY ROAD and which cinema in particular is playing it first.

THURSDAY MAY 14TH.
12:40 pm.
Village cinema. collins street Hobart.

Booked my tickets and have taken the entire day off.

My local Hoyts in Melbourne, 10:15am Thu May 14.

Will go again in the afternoon to IMAX / 3D, but the IMAX sessions don't start until 4pm.

I took the day off also!

Due to the powers that be I'll be seeing this movie a week after the premiere, so I'm bailing from the forums for a week after the 14th.

Well... shit.

Got my IMAX tickets for London at 6pm on the Thursday and again for the next day. Couple of half days off work for me, and dragging a few people along. They will thank me for it.
Both viewings in 3D, there's pretty much no choice initially, but I'm determined/desperate to see it in 2D first so if anyone hears of a pre-14th screening in London I'd be forever grateful. Just hoping some WB people scan these forums. Please!!

Why yes it's all planned as I'll probably be showing up 2-3 hours before my screening to make sure I get in and get a good seat and probably be losing my mind waiting in that time given its in less than 5 days! :o  :D

Visiting this forum is going to be dangerous in a few days time I suspect, what with more and more members being lucky enough to have actually seen it. But it's half the fun, this will never happen again because any subsequent sequel just can't compete with the tension of 30 years of wait. 'Losing my mind' pretty much sums it up...but I'm loving it...it's almost surreal.
