What do the critics say?

Well folks, I don't know what to say. Perhaps the rough cut I saw has been shaped up. Maybe I was too overwhelmed by a movie I'd been waiting thirty years for. The reviews are flowing and they're all going fucking apeshit for Fury Road. Seeing it Friday. Cannot wait.

The critics doesn't mean anything to me. People just write some stuff to be read or noticed in the tsunami of cheap reviews flooding from everywhere. The word "masterpiece" is used so many times... The last time was for Interstellar, how many ridiculous reviews I saw about this movie ! "Masterpiece" "I never saw this kind of movie since 2001" etc etc... If you look at the ratings of a magazine like Empire, you understand it's a meaningless joke.
Let's wait for the second wave, the people who are going to find that the movie is disapointed, another attitude to generate clicks... It's a game, people who are able to write an interesting review, without retelling the story and emphasized it with stupid overreactions and adjectives are pretty rares.

This is incredible. I've been waiting and waiting for the critical reaction and it's absolutely beyond belief how good it is. Don't remember an action film getting this kind of reaction since The Dark Knight. It feels like my birthday or something I'm so happy. How do I wait three more days after this?

Fair enough but I read a lot of bad reviews for Interstellar as well. Variety, Hollywood Reporter and Vanity Fair - three of the toughest standards in the business - were hopped up after seeing Fury Road.
