I'd like my jets to be a bit warmed up, if that's ok?
Cautiously optimistic, like I was when news about Fury Road came out but the third time was the charm ... it could happen, it could be great.
Yeah me too!
Oh, I'll have to fire up the game and read some of those journal entries. I absolutely loved the game but it did feel like those character bios were ripped from another source. The way they referenced Fury Road but with characters switched around was a bit strange. That said if the film is anything as good as some of the cut scenes in the game then I am hyped.Taipan wrote: ↑Sun Oct 18, 2020 12:56 am If you want to know more details about the plot of Furiosa I suggest you check out the Mad Max game.
Back when I made the video about the history of Mad Max video games I wasn't kidding in saying that this game is full of spoilers from future Mad Max movies. That's why I hate how WB handled that game, they just took Miller's ideas that he wanted to keep secret, they mangled them a little bit and built a game around it.
Just recently I became familiar with the plot of Furiosa, more or less the entire thing. I'm not going to spoil it for anyone because a promise is a promise. But that game did reveal too much already in Hope and Glory's backstory logs. Of course they switched some things around a little, added a couple of things here and there but the gist of stuff from Furiosa is in there. This is one of the reasons Miller's name is not in that game. WB should've created an original story instead of remixing what Miller had come up with for Furiosa and The Wasteland, as well as the prequel comic books....
It's quite shocking how many we've lost in the short span of five years...I watched Fury Road for the 100th time last night and it struck me that George will be getting four new actors in for Furiosa.
Furiosa is obviously being recast with a younger actor. I don't see how the film could be done without the Immortan so with Hughs passing they will need to. The Bullet Farmer may make an appearance but Richard Carter passed away last year. Quentin Kenihan who played Corpus Colossus passed away in 2018.
