A german movie magazine is already teasing The Wasteland.
But I doubt they have any substentional news...

Hmm, interesting. I wonder if maybe that mention of Mad Max: The Wasteland a mixup of information, and it is actually reporting on the recent Furiosa news? Since Furiosa is supposed to be happening first...
Here's the actual website link for that magazine:

I try to get this edition, haven't bought one in a long time.
Had my first cinema in 1982 and it featured Mad Max 2

Re: News on the Fury Road : "The Wasteland" & "Furiosa"
The magazine is featuring several back stories about all four previous Mad Max movies, including the lastest news on 'Furiosa', probably having a younger lead.
Also Mick Broderick, author of the book 'Trauma and Disability in Mad Max' and his co-author, Katie Ellis, having their thoughts on possible story beats in 'Mad Max: The Wasteland' (the film might concentrate on Max' hallucinations and visions and its cause) and the Green Place in 'Furiosa' (the development how it was poisened). Nothing new and it's unclear if these two are involved in the movie production at all...
Saving the best for last:
Harrison Norris (24) and his father Guy Norris (59) who both have worked as stuntmen in Fury Road are using PROXi-System, a virtual 3D programme which helps to visualize detailed action scenes in pre-production. According to Harrison Norris, since 2019 he is already using this programme on the second to last sequence of 'Furiosa' (obviously a giant action piece) bringing George Millers vision to life.
He is promising: "in comparison to this, Fury Road looks like if small kids are playing in a sandbox"

IN SEARCH FOR A “BREATHTAKINGLY HANDSOME” MALE LEAD
George Miller’s Mad Max: Furiosa could be heading into production very soon, as Warner Bros. is trying to lock down the male lead, a character known as Dementus:
[DEMENTUS]
Lead Male (30 – 40)
He is breathtakingly handsome. An angel’s face, scarred by a
deep forehead wound stitched together with shiny chrome
staples.
CHRIS HEMSWORTH FITS THE BILL
We have been told that Warner Bros. is very interested Chris Hemsworth for the role, but it’s not a done deal. Going from Tom Hardy to Chris Hemsworth is not a bad trade-off however. Based on the description, the Dementus character seems tailor made for the Mad Max universe.

No MAX in "Furiosa", and we have a winner movie. So I'm up for Big Chris as co-lead.

That information comes from a YT channel that gets barely over 100 views per video and yet it's been given 'exclusive information from Warner Bros'.
Literally anyone can make info up like that. I'm not buying any of it.
