That's great.biolumen wrote:Miller is being interviewed tonight by the Los Angeles Times, and it'll be live on Twitter. Might learn a thing or two more about his plans for 'Furiosa'.

I would prefer to get a FURIOSA prequel/spin-off movie starring a younger Furiosa, and no Max but a surrogate hero. Just that.
I think Max 2's story is over and I don't like the idea of having him interacting with Furiosa long time before FURY ROAD.

Since the first time watching FR the "first" time Max and Furiosa saw each other there always looked like a moment of "what the hell are YOU doing here?!" for both of them, but yes a lot of interaction between them wouldn't make sense.Uncle Entity wrote:I would prefer to get a FURIOSA prequel/spin-off movie starring a younger Furiosa, and no Max but a surrogate hero. On the flip side, I think Max could have more stories, it's just the 'going from being broken to functioning human' arc has been done now. Twice. So another story might be about helping someone else going through that process, or learning to stand up and be a leader, or accepting that he's getting old and has to pass the torch on, or any number of other things ... and there's no reason why that process might not lead to a brief path crossing with Furiosa

I got the same vibe from that scene. I'm 99% sure they were directed to act as if they already saw each other before, which is in line with Miller's plot for 'Furiosa' that they did in fact saw each other before Fury Road.Turbofurball wrote: Since the first time watching FR the "first" time Max and Furiosa saw each other there always looked like a moment of "what the hell are YOU doing here?!" for both of them, but yes a lot of interaction between them wouldn't make sense.

I think here lies the dilemma we have.Turbofurball wrote: On the flip side, I think Max could have more stories, it's just the 'going from being broken to functioning human' arc has been done now. The best end for Max as a character would have been if he had found a new family, which they originally planned for Gibson-Max. Now Hardy-Max is destined to wander the Wasteland again which leads to false hopes for a wanted sequel we might never get...

No way. Max - either the Maxes - is a lone soldier, doomed to roam the Wasteland forever. That's it.Immortan Joecutter wrote:Turbofurball wrote:
