Your English isn't the problem. Either it's Hardy's English or the editor of the article who's at fault here. Maybe Hardy is trying to obfuscate the issue by talking gibberish, or the editor was incompetent at transcribing the interview. Whatever the case, it doesn't make much sense to this native English speaker.

Heh he looks so young in that photo on the red carpet in the link above. Hardy is a fantastic actor so I can't wait for Fury Road...if it ever gets made.

It's a shame about the production delay but now even Hardy has found something to keep him busy until February:
Tom Hardy Steps In for Sam Worthington in This Means War
Back in June, we told you that Fox had offered Sam Worthington a starring role in Fox’s McG-directed action/romantic comedy This Means War, but we also warned you that Worthington would likely "sit on the project for awhile and eventually wander off,” considering actors have been bouncing into and out of this project since at least 2001, when it was supposed to star Chris Rock and Martin Lawrence. Well, the Avatar star did wander off (and rather quickly), but now Inception’s Tom Hardy has stepped in and closed — closed, we say! — a deal to star in the spy role that had originally been offered to Worthington. He’ll play one of the spies (opposite Chris Pine) who wage black-ops warfare on each other when they both fall for the same girl (Reese Witherspoon, who’s also producing, along with Will Smith’s company, Overbrook Entertainment). CORRECTION: Fox tells us that they never officially offered Worthington in the role, just had "preliminary talks" with his team. Also, Witherspoon is starring in the film, but not producing it.

Hardy spoke a bit about Fury Road to Alex Zane of Sky Movies. Video at the link, but here's the transcription anyway.
Alex Zane: It's confirmed, you are Mad Max.

Tom Hardy: Yeah.

AZ: Now, is it the fourth movie or is it a remake of the first? What can you tell us? I don't want to press you for too much, but....

TH: Obviously I can't say anything about it, but..ah...

AZ: How does it feel to be Mad Max, then?

TH: It's a mixture of daunting...ah...because it belongs, you know, obviously to Mel....Mad Max....in many ways. But at the same time, it's a chance...an opportunity I really want to take on, and see what I can do with it. And also George Miller is such a wonderful man, a wonderful artist. Very kind and analytic sort of human being. The approach to the work is very different to that of some kind of...in many ways it's like how Chris Nolan approaches movies. But, I'm really excited about it.

I've just come back from Australia and had a good look at all the vehicles that they've created, and there is an extensive collection of archaic sort of vehicles. It's hard core. And they've developed new cameras...3D cameras to go inside them. It's very big. But at the same time, it seems to be that the fans of the original Mad Max find so important the human story within that wasteland, that world, that society which is deprived of emotions like love and kindness, a very ruthless world. I think it's much more....it's gonna be more of that, but with a high octane level of...umm...smash, bang, whallop, crash, all that kind of stuff. But for real, as opposed to CGI. I mean, they're gonna really smash up some stuff.

Good interview and the Fury Road blurb was nice. Cheers for posting.

This comment got me excited especially the bolded..

I'd read the rumblings of Fury Road being in 3D or not that was posted here but I never really imagined the idea of the cameras and effect being inside the car, as if the audience is going to be passengers in the possible new Interceptor! :D

Forget Tom Hardy - Aussie actor Matt Holmes ( Blue Healers/Sea Patrol ) would make a better Max .

Nah, Matt Holmes just doesn't have the look, plus I couldn't take him seriously because he looks too much like Mickey Robins (Australian 'comedian', weight loss miracle and buffoon panalist from Good News Week (A great show)). He just doesn't have the worn in look to me.

From earlier days I figured someone like Clive Owen would be great for the role, thanks to that old MM4 fan trailer from parts of game/movie footage, also his portrayal of a very similar character in Children of Men (Brilliant!).

Also, I did have a fleeting glimmer of hope in Gerard Butler thanks to the post of his movie 'Gamer'

Tell me this isn't 'Max'...
