As you can see,the angle of the engine/trans can be adjusted by turning the big bolt in the engine tilter.You don't even have to hold the trans up with a floor jack.This thing is the best $80.00 I ever spent.Cheers,Bill

Re: Pulling the 302
if you can find one get an engine tilter like this.The chain ones move around and cause your engine to bump the firewall and scratch it up.

To post photos, click the Img button above and paste the path to your photo inbetween the Img tags. The path to your photo should start with http:// and end with .jpg if you are linking to a jpg. Your photos must already be hosted somewhere on the Internet.

Re: Pulling the 302
Not yet, I get about 1 day a week to work on my car, ususally Saturday or Sunday. Because of space limitations, when I am not working on the car, she is parked in the back of my garage with various parts piled around her. The process to work on the car is as follows:
1) Wake up early (
)
2) Back out wife's car (1:00 minute)
3) Back out my car (1:00 minute)
4) "Un-bury" the Falcon (15:00 minutes)
5) Push Falcon to middle of garage (5-15:00 minutes)
6) Put some music on (5:00 minutes)
7) Work on Falcon (8-10 hours)
8) Clean up (2 hours)
9) Push Falcon to the back of garage (5-15:00 minutes)
10) Bury Falcon in all of the removed parts (15:00 minutes)
Does anyone know any tricks to getting wives to accept piles of old car parts in spare bedrooms?
