MM - "This is a threshold moment, Johnny!"
MM2 - "And it was here, in this blighted place, that he learned to live again"
The above line from the opening dialogue from MM2 has been ingrained in my head since I first saw it at roughly age 11, and probably my favorite quote from all three movies. It just sums up everything "wasteland" for me, a concept I've been obsessed with since I first saw The Road Warrior. I just hope that I can someday fulfill my ultimate lifelong dream of driving a burnt out shell of a black pursuit special across the wasteland...
