Sockpuppet If I'm on any list I hope it's your christmas card list. How else am I to judge a car when I see a cool photo of it? I see shiney slick looking replicar. I don't see a shoddily thrown together piece of crap.
However, if you know different then feel free to put me (and the rest of us) right by providing phtos at least of something that clearly shows Gordon was cheating someone or cutting corners. It's all well and good what you're saying but it's just mud slinging at the moment.
As for getting my tongue outta Gordons arse. He's the other side of the planet mate!! I'm good, as Alison will testify, but I'm not
THAT good!
C'mon socky, put up or shut up.

madmaxing,
you just made the list...... along with chase bansi and biker.
anyone else ??????
This is of no significance to me.
4073MAX, this is all we are looking for. Rather than just making vague accusasions or generalizations, if someone has some substantiated claim then please make them, tell us about and show us the evidence to back it up, and let facts be facts, rather than just banter from newly created accounts so that identities have to be hidden, for whatever reasons. On that topic the IP addresses will be the same as your regular account no matter how many accounts are created. It is easy to tell from whom the statements were made.
* check out bill browns site photos under 'bucket of holes' s
As for Bill Brown's replica, Steve Pilant built the car, not Gordon.
Because of this inaccuracy I have to question the rest of your statements. Please double check and get back with us.

""As for Bill Brown's replica, Steve Pilant built the car, not Gordon."""
""""The Bill Brown car had the spoilers the flares and the Paint work done else where.
Neither Grant or myself had any idea how the flares (which long pre-dated our current design) , roof spoiler and Trunk spoiler ( Cobra 3 sction also well pre-dating or current design) were fitted.
Grant who constructed this replica (pre- the current Gordon / Grant era) trusted the Painter and parts fitter to do a good Job (after all he did say that he was a great painter and brilliant at his work, and he did also say oh yes I am just wonderful at fitting fibreglass).""""
Steve this is what Gordon wrote in another thread.....
As for anymore comments about interceptor builders reputation... please start a thread in Thunderdome..... and argue it out in there....

Hi all, thankyou for sticking for our cars. as with any car building you learn as you go and the so many differant ways to do things.
Sockpuppet your making some interesting claims, but as in Road Warrior they are JUST WORDS!!!!!!!!!!!! i am sure when you build your replica it wont be 100% snafu like ours and you even strike me as the sort of person that would build an interceptor out of a GT, rather than scale the country side retrieving cars that are ready fot the crushers due to lack of interest by there owners! our latest creation is just one of those cars, it is a cheap car for what it has in it and is something that the new owners can enjoy and build on as they see fit and not have the stress of treating it like a full on show car.
Gordon has done most of the work himself, other than the paint job, we still have painters to try and do this, an every car has a differant painter as they are more interested in sitting on a box an drinking iced coffee and looking at the job rather than doing it!!
so sockpuppet please continue to make JUST WORDS an Gordon will finish the interceptor while I continue with the Tumbler an Tim Allan is welcome to sign what ever he wants of our vehicles.

I do appreciate the info that roadwarriormfp posted. It was info I did not have.
As for the info
I posted, I got it from
this website.
http://www.madmaxmovies.com/fanstuff/ca ... index.html
"This car was originally the work of Steve Pilant, who did a lot of running around and spent a large amount of money tracking down a lot of the parts that others are now using in their replica interceptors. Unfortunately after the car was mostly complete, Steve found it necessary to sell it due to financial reasons. Like a couple of the people who built cars, Steve also found that the main interest in the project for him had been during the actual researching and building of the car, and not necessarily the owning and driving of it afterwards."
I am thankful for Steve's reasearch though as I have benefited from it directly.
4073MAX, thank you for referring me to the Honor Role webpage. I found this information there about Bill's car...
"Grant Hodgson built virtually all of this replica alone, Gordon only supplied the roof spoiler and the Monza nose."
I've already spent way too much time in this topic. I usually never enter into an adversarial conversation, but this was just a little harder to pass on with the way things were being done. I won't be wasting my time in this topic anymore. I'm also sorry for adding to the fire. I know we all come here for enjoyment.
