DRAK: Isn't the bottom edge of the greenhouse spoiler supposed to blend at the mid-point of the quarter window? It looks like its ending at the corner point like on my 1:1 car. The boot spoiler looks good.
It's just tacked on with Vaseline, so it tends to slide around a bit. From the picture it looks like it blends just a bit ahead of the angle on the quarter window, which is well within the range of adjustment. On Manx's Grant model it blends at the angle on the quarter window.
I still have a lot of shaping work to do on the surface that mates with the car.

MAD MAXING: Have you read you're latest PM? I sent a rendering to you Friday morning as a reply to your "Car Stuff" message. Lemme know.

Good to know. It would suck to spend that kind of money to build a model Incorector

I got the repros from DRAK last Friday, and they look great...in fact, I had to spend a few seconds differentiating them from the original as they were set on the table. A couple of drops of CA, a little putty by the eyebrows and it'll be a perfect fit.
If people are concerned about the greenhouse spoiler, go ahead and putty it in, dry-brush black over it, then don't sand down to the metal, and the paint will look sun faded, then add the dirt on top to weather it.

Thanks... it's the best I could do with ultrafast resin. If I had slower stuff, I could let the mold sit in the vacuum chamber for a while. I'm saving all of my "misprints" for future use. I'm cultivating a plan to make functional headlamps to fit your nosepiece.
Trying to make tires at the moment. Bonnet and boot in metal when that's done.

Hi guys,
Had a family emergency to deal with and I'm trying to get back in the swing of things.
Those noses look frigging amazing! It's also really cool to see the progress pics of the spoilers as well, even while in the rough. Nice detail consideration molding them to the car while still soft for curing.
I am getting visions in my head now of when people start posting pics of their finished Biante BoBs and dirtied AutoArt MM2's. This is going to be great.
Jay, I haven't even written a word on my script for a couple weeks now. As things settle down I can also start looking for a model for the Gauntlet. I'll probably be picking your brain again once I get started on it and have more ideas.
Thanks,
Steve

It's still going to be a while before it's over, but the most hurried part is over, I think.
On the upside, I worked on my screenplay some more last night, so there is some sense of normalcy coming back. Thanks for the concern.
