It seems others feel the same.

In the #FuryRoad trailer alone, George Miller continues to demonstrate that an unbroken take is always the best way to show a stunt.

Yeah the action was incredibly well framed and well, you could see the whole thing! lol

Loving that QT encode. You can see details you might of missed in the Youtube version like Max in the beginning is actually wearing both of his original boots and doesn't have the pistol hip holster and actually has the sawn-off shotgun in a sling on over his right shoulder.

Also when he's in the BoB he's got a pair of eyewear/goggles on his head. Wasn't there someone commenting about protective eye wear?

Also the pack on his back just a plastic bag likely for water.

Just watched this on my big HD tv. Amazing and you can really see all the neat details on a bigger screen.

Thanks for the HD DGSimo!

Noticed a few things: his tattoo is upside down. And part of it says:

"Lone Road Warrior rundown ... (on) the Powder Lakes (V8).
No supplies."

Seems obvious that the 'radio talk' is montage backstory to explain world events. As he stands there, society is gone meaning no radio, no 911, no whatever. These radio messages are ancient memory. It's the same, less dramatic, montage as we saw in MM2. And it's been ripped off and redone in nearly every Zombie or Post Apoc movie with stock footage, explanation of the collapse, etc. I think Max is on the hilltop looking for something, perhaps a road, town, people (to go to or avoid), water, who knows. I found it really stupid given that he appears he's in the middle of a car chase, for him to stop and stand there. Hopefully that's just a trailer and not part of the movie. I also found the blind stomping on the lizard contrived. Sure, he may eat it, but it was just dumb. Directors trying too hard in my view.

As for his capture, it sorta makes sense as a slave or for food or breeding. Remember Humungus took prisoners and the Toecutter's gang left two victims alive, and Tina Turner (silly if you ask me) didn't kill Max. Conversely, Wez's group did rape and kill (weirdly, they killed the hot woman, which is still puzzling given their obvious lack of women in that world). So I think it's plausible that Max gets captured.

The idea he could be used for blood transfusions makes sense. But for any organ harvesting, I doubt it. We're talking about a totally chaotic world where medical supplies have probably been long exhausted. Simple things like rubbing alcohol don't exist because there are no manufacturers or raw materials. For neurosurgery you need sterile, clean, safe, undisturbed working and recovery areas. You need power/electricity, expensive equipment, medically schooled and skilled people, micro-tools, etc. Imagine a doctor from the 1800s trying to replace a limb or an eye... just not possible with any level of believably. Starts really getting into the world of the absurd.

Your comments are literally what we've been all expecting here on this board as soon as the trailer for Fury Road would drop. Full on ignorant raving moronic drivel.

Max is not stopping there in the middle of a chase, but I assume you have no clue what the Comic Con footage looked like. And of course that footage was shot exclusively for the trailer...

Enlighten me then. Why is he stopped? What is he doing? If it was JUST SHOT to be used in the trailer, then okay. But the whole stomping on the lizard (even if it is for food) is dumb IMO. But it would make sense to show the start of a car chase, rather than show the actual start of the car chase, so that's acceptable and not really a beef of mine.

I suspect some fan boys will like anything with the MM stamp on it, even if they totally ruin it for the rest of us, as long as there's big explosions like watching Transformers part 6.

Thanks DGSimo. Even on my 24" computer screen, that version of the trailer was magnificent. I can only imagine what it would look like on my 60" plasma.

Does anyone think this will appear before a movie in the near future, or are we going to have to wait for something like Interstellar to see the first theatrical trailer?
