Actually reminds my of the old BATTLECARS style art from Jim Burns circa the mid-eights...

The set up is correct.... engine, high rise manifold, blower, carbi manifold, carbies, intake pipes.HUMVEE Driver wrote:Ok, motorheads, would a setup like that even work? Looks like they have a carb on top of the blower which should have a carb inside of it...?![]()

I hope that aren't going for form over function here. I hate to say it but that engine setup just looks silly.

I doubt the set up is a fake as it looks like its all there... Im betting the car actually belongs to someone? or it was made to run for real just for the hell of it....
The strap is actually used on all blown drag cars, in the event the bolts break or something goes wrong, it helps hold the blower down so it doesnt fly off and hit the crowd or other vehicles. Though im doubting by the size of the "puny" strap that itll hold much....I see a strap holding it all together. I think they just threw some stuff together just for the photo-op.
We are 100% snafu....

Here's another video of the press conference. Better quality video this time, with some new quotes.

Just a guess, but could it be Miller's longtime producing partner Doug Mitchell of Kennedy-Miller-Mitchell?MadMaxImages wrote:Seriously, guys—who's the dude with the '80s mullet?

I think the car builder's vision was to 'modernize', ie the 'lowrider' stance and the higher blower intake and strap (used lately on drag cars) on the rat-truck.
The Bronze take our pride...

Loving the rat look ute...anyone know what it originally was/is?
The new BoB looks the part too....looking forward to seeing other incarnations that George Millar has awaiting for us.
I wonder if both these vehicles belong to Max? the Ute is his daily driver and he has the BoB garaged away, assembeling the parts over the years since Thunderdome, and it gets used in the final chase sequence?

If it says this is a Paralleled Universe in the dialog of the movie, Sure... (I hope not. There's never been any Science Fiction in these Science Fiction films and I don't want it now)Uncle Entity wrote:GUYS,

If it doesn't..
