Bloody hell!! Check out the price of what the model costs in Indonesian Rupiah!

Just hover your mouse over the "other currencies" in the details section.

Hey E Jay it looks great! Looking forward to seeing what you chaps all do with it once you get it and set it onto a display base and give it some weathering.

Ahaaaaaaaaaa, but what you need to ask yourself is: Is the dust correctly placed for movie accuracy?

Seemed to me a bit heavy towards the rear quarters in some shots, in others it just looked fake.... almost like it was added later in photoshop.

Ok so what if it's the "original" dust. It'd take a lot more than having the car bought and shipped from the USA, turned into a MM Interceptor by new owner Adrian. enter into various car shows around the UK driven to the museum housing the original Interceptor. Appear as a feature in TV programme. The car, owner and family are then packed into a kin' great shipping container with lots and lots of sandwiches, (peanut butter and honey I bet) and then without so much as wave goodbye they desert their native homeland in favour of sunny Australia.

Then after having a replicar which has traveled around the entire planet by now is converted yet again to resemble a later version of the car, driven to the exact film set locations, there to be covered in the dust from original movie... well I'm sorry to say; That does NOT an accurate movie correct Interceptor make.

Adrian has tried his best, given the limited means at his disposal, I give him that but... well, I think the immortal words of Shania Twain say it best: "It don't impress me much."

Comments?

Do ya worst!

Yesterday I recieved a message from Biante that the model is in transit. My shop here in the US listed March 4 as their date to have it.

a good find Dave, better than one of those bastards you need to put together yourself.
I do not have the patience, top marks to anyone who does.

...sorta slow motion. he leaves the seat, goes through the windscreen, headfirst straight into the tree...right. and then, bounces back through the windscreen. by the time we got to him.. he was just sittin there trying to scream with his face ripped off......whats the matter?
