I just found this on youtube then came straight here. I think it was really well done, loved it.
Some problems with the realisation that maybe there will be too much cgi, and too much access to technology that we wouldn't have yet, since that future would only be as far as a possible second industrial age. (I could see some of that, but there were other things indicating otherwise)
On the other hand, some of the ideas in there were awesome, the mining truck, of course, being one of them.
I agree that Clive Owen would do pretty good being max, and I don't doubt he could probably pick up an Australian accent, since the poms are better at that than the yanks, and he has the look needed. Manly, but not completely angry and brutal, just strengthened over time by and not wanting to be there, the antithesis of hero Max's character always was.
On youtube there was arguments that people wanted Christian Bale to do it, I STRONGLY DISAGREE.
Anyway, good to be back in the forums here...
