I hear on the news now that the French have imposed a night-time curfew for anyone under 16....Hello..they're throwing molatov cocktails at the police and mudering people in the streets.....I don't think that's gunna work.....who's running the country?..the sugar plumb fairy?

Dunnoh if anyone overseas has heard but the Aust. Govt rushed through new "Anti-Terror" Laws into effect..three days later the Bronze are raiding the homes of "Jawas" and finding all sorts of bomb making equipment, one guy got shot in the neck (damn, too low) and the reports are they (the "sand people") were very close to commiting a 'major operation'!


now I'm suspicious of the Media at the best of times..but the scenes of their supporters attacking camera crews trying to capture the story gives me the 'shivering quits'!..and doesn't lend them much support for their claims to be peaceful people!


looks like our quiet little back water will soon have a few ripples on the surface too!

Got this in an email...don't think its true...but its good..


A person wrote a letter to the White House complaining about the treatment of a captive taken during the Afghanistan war.


Below is a copy of the response.

Dear Concerned Citizen,


Thank you for your recent letter criticizing our treatment of the Taliban and Al Qaeda detainees currently held at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.


The administration takes these matters seriously, and your opinion was heard loud and clear here in Washington.


You'll be pleased to learn that, thanks to the concerns of citizens like you, we are creating the Terrorist Retraining Program, to be called the "Liberals Accept Responsibility for Killers" program, or LARK for short.


In accordance with the guidelines of this new program, we have decided to place one terrorist under your personal care.


Your detainee has been selected and scheduled for transportation to your residence next Monday.


Ali Mohammed Ahmed bin Mahmud is to be cared for pursuant to the standards you personally demanded in your letter of admonishment.


We will conduct weekly inspections to ensure that your standards of care for Ahmed are commensurate with those you so strongly recommended in your letter.


Although Ahmed is sociopathic and extremely violent, we hope that your sensitivity to what you described as his "attitudinal problem" will help him overcome this character flaw.


Perhaps you are correct in describing these problems as mere cultural differences.


Your adopted terrorist is extremely proficient in hand-to-hand combat and can extinguish human life with such simple items as a pencil or nail clippers.


He is also expert at making a wide variety of explosive devices from common household products, so you may wish to keep those items locked up, unless you feel that this might offend him.


Ahmed will not wish to interact with your wife or daughters since he views females as a subhuman form of property.


This is a particularly sensitive subject for him.


He has been known to show violent tendencies around women who fail to comply with the dress code that he considers appropriate, but I'm sure that over time they will come to enjoy the anonymity offered by the bhurka.


Just remind them that it is all part of respecting his culture and his religious beliefs.

example: the police have pulled me over....probley because my truck is over ten years old and i have long hair....but thats no big deal .....one time about 2 years ago,at a house we are working on....some mexicans that are probaly illigeal try to sell me a hand gun with what looks like the serial number being ground off.....i like guns,but this one is in pretty bad shape....and not sure if its not stolen....anyway ,they could have been legal and cool.....but the government don't care about this stuff[i'm not blaming everything on police....there just told what laws to enforce by the Government] i'll bet if i called the police and told them ...they would take there time comin out.....how many Americans are stabbed,raped,killed each year by illiegals.......1 would be too many.


if our Government would put HALF its effort on stoping illiegal immigrants.....as it does on "the war on drugs" i'll bet i would make a big difference......but someone useing drugs is alot more of a threat to Americans saftey...than violent criminals coming across the border......if legal citzens get hurt...so be it; but we certainly can't "offend" anyone now can we.....

Spoke too soon about it not affecting me. Apparently there was an "incident" in the city of Caen the other night. Caen is about 35 miles north of me.


But according to the newscasts this morning the riots weren't as bad as they were. Phew that makes me sleep soooo much better. Duh.


I was watching the man news yesterday seeing youths lobing stones and petrol bombs at the French cops while they crouched behind their riot shields and said to Alison (my partner) what they ought to do is have snipers set up with small calibre rifles and shoot the legs out from these protesters, enough to wound but not kill, obviously. Then wait around the hospital for someone to limp in needing treatment then arrest his sorry ass before he gets any painkillers. The shooting would be sanctioned by a superior officer with binoculars and the sniper would be charged with shooting only for the legs. It can be done and how many other rioters would venture out onto the streets knowing they'd get could get hit?


Too right about the law being enforced to protect the rights of others and not the native countrymen. The soft hearted leaders will fawn over the poor supressed people who've staggered over our borders and welcome them with open arms... and turn a blind eye to every crime they commit henceforth.


What made me laugh the other week was an article on the news about a known terrorist who was in custody and about to be deported back to his home country. Human rights campaigners were trying to defend this guy by saying if he were sent back he'd be tortured to death....


The reply should have been: Uh yeah? And what exactly has that to do with me? He came here fleeing his own country after being found out he was making bombs etc and so he came to this country and conitnued to make bombs and went ont to encite racial hatred, he doesn't even attempt to interact with the locals but keeps himself to himself or holds seminars with impressionable youth telling them that they should stand up and fight for their 'freedoms' and you don't want me to send him packing?


The answer they gave was. Hmmm you could be right we'll have a rethink, maybe put him under house arrest and take away his mobile phone.


Saps every last one of them. As Moko said appeasement is viewed as weakness.


Racism is a two way street. I've always said that and will continue to believe it.

I saw a BBC show called "Bodyhits"...it stated that the French habit of eating their meat 'Rare' means that a parasite (toxoplasmodium?) can survive the cooking process and that ~75% of French adults have this parasite in their blood!...the effect of this parasite?..It make them Dopey!


Now all they have to do is discover the parasite that makes them rude!
