Thanks mate. Skull detail is currently in my cousin's hands, he's trying to make me a painting template with laser. If that doesn't work out, my next option is to go with water slide decals and I would need some help with those.

Small update. Vinyl roof, made from wide Tamiya masking tape:
And painted with Vallejo black/brown using brush:
I will foil trimming later so little paint spill over them is ok.

Actually I can't take credit for masking tape idea, I was looking through internet about making vinyl roof and found this:

I have to say that this is easier than it looks, and possibilities with weathering and all sorts of damage are endless.

Here's couple more baby steps taken. Vinyl roof trim is done, also windshield and rear window done. And one very important feature, skull decals finally arrived

Car has received layer of semi gloss to seal decals in, probably have to give it light pass with matte varnish so that pigments stay on.
So, next step would be test run with AK Interactive Xtreme metal paints.

That is some amazing work.. Great job with everything you've had to do to it to get it to where it's at now. That roof turned out killer, you're idea or not.

Thanks mate. Here's another with front bumper now painted and glued on, I used AK Intercative Xtreme metal chrome for the job and while not mirror finish I think it's just perfect for this job.

Do you plan on selling this Landau after you finish it, or will it find its place in your own display cabinet?
