Mate your not the only one who goofed on their roof spoilers,I remember Adi griping about his AFTER it was painted gloss black and modded it it to fit the movie version better. that's why when the damn original rear its head in Miami Fl. hooopfully the museum or collector who has it will let one of us Mad Maxaholics take measurements.

Assuming that it was not removed and replaced during the gawdawful bastardization that was called a restoration, leaving it looking like one of the least acurate replicas out there. I would have simply replaced the crushed Scott Hat and preserved the rest......

Hey Mr Speed,

What did you use to sand back the original shell/paint? Just an orbital or DB sander?

Sam i used rapid strip disks from super cheap,they are phybro and fit on 6 inch grinder, cost is about $16 per disk,which will strip a guard to bare metal in about 40 mins,hard to get area's i used a sand blaster,hope that helps mate.

Finaly got a pair of BF Goodrich 295/50/15 TA for the rear,got them here in australia :D
