I think it's a Chevy though, but it's either 1933 or 1934 5 Window Coupe. Here it is compared to the 1933 model:
The back window matches up, the doors too (that's why it can't be a 32 Ford - it's got small door windows), roofline is pretty much there. Thoughts?
I guess that's why he has this big sunroof.Daz wrote:Taipan wrote:32 chev's cab is pretty square, check the back window, it doesn't have that round drop to it.

Anyone else notice that the side pipes are fake? You can't open the doors if they are real.
They are real you can see the car running here in this video I took in Sydney @ 3:35, dunno how they get into it thru the window Dukes of Hazzard style lolDaz wrote:Taipan wrote:32 chev's cab is pretty square, check the back window, it doesn't have that round drop to it.

So if they are attached to the doors, how did Claytons Max rip off the door and carry it and Nux?Artemis Flow wrote:They are real you can see the car running here in this video I took in Sydney @ 3:35, dunno how they get into it thru the window Dukes of Hazzard style lolDaz wrote:Taipan wrote:32 chev's cab is pretty square, check the back window, it doesn't have that round drop to it.

In the movie they say it has 2 engines. If they both are functional for real, I don't know.Taipan wrote:I have another question though, regarding The War Rig.
Some people are coming out of the woodwork saying that Tatra was in reality powered by two engines. Despite the fact I've never heard any of the builders say it was powered by twin engines, but rather by a single one that was swapped in favor of a 600hp racing engine as I recall because the original was underpowered. Same goes with the superchargers, how is it possible to even mount the first supercharger so high above the air cooling ducts and make it work? Look at this picture from the build, the engines are really low and the superchargers are sticking out of the bonnet real high in the movie. IMO - one engine functional, both superchargers and second engine for show. Your thoughts?
Here's the pic in question:
