I see they're misidentifying that kit car as a Corvette. Can somebody remind me, please, what that thing actually was? I know it's been discussed here before.

It is a Perentti Corvette, the Australian built Corvette.
"UNDERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" is how far you take the fence with you.

Incidentally a "Perentie" is the name for the largest Australian desert monitor lizard (like a "Goanna") and resembling their larger cousins the Komodo Dragons.
Pretty sure the kit car was named after the critter

You can get them for about 10k. An unroadworthy one was on fleabay for 5k about a year ago. They suffer from delimitation of the glass, especially if it's had a love tap in a car park. You used to drop them on a strengthened kingswood chassis.
