FURY ROAD COMIC CON TRAILER IS HERE!

Yeah that's the shot I was talking about with the pole cats.

That look Tom Hardy gives is the look of a man who is emotionally empty to me. Hardy certainly is a good enough actor to pull it off without having been in previous films.Q-ball wrote:The "half-arsed thumbs up" Max gives reminds me of the nod he gives as they move out of the compound in MM2 in the tanker, it's like "yeah I can do the job better than anyone, but we're still screwed".

The trailer is stunning. I've watched it half a dozen times now... It looks so beautiful, really well shot. The color is wonderful, I love that 'Mad Max' hard sunlight look. I'm happy to nwait for the movie to actually come out, buy a ticket and let Miller take me on a ride down the Fury Road... All this endless speculation - why not let the movie surprise you with where it goes?
I am so stoked about this film, I can't tell you.

I wonder what kind of gun this is?

"Capable" (Riley Keough) is pregnant and falls off the War Rig. "The Dag" (Abbey Lee) seems somewhat autistic... I'm assuming "Fragile" (Courtney Eaton) makes it through.
In my opinion the one falling pregnant from the War Rig is Rosie, the blonde one, not Capable. I suppose the character of Riley Keough, the red head, is the only one the survives...isn't she "Capable"?

At the beginning of the trailer, you can notice the lizard has two heads. It is not very important, but it is a funny detail.
Re: FURY ROAD COMIC CON TRAILER IS HERE!
I think I have watched this trailer now 30 times also and have to say holy s*^t!! Tons of detail and things going on. Did anybody notice as Max's interceptor rolls over that there is yellow paint on the roof that shows through as the panel gets damaged and dented. I was thinking what the...then realized maybe just another detail Miller added from the original MM movie that it was one of the yellow MFP cars that they turned into Max's interceptor. If so another little tie to the original MM movie. I do agree with others that the interceptor in the beginning of this trailer is in tough shape! The tire is definitely filled with rags or something. Black smoke as the car starts and sound rough! No wonder they ran him down quick.

I believe Rosie was the only one of the five wives who wasn't present for the additional filming in Sydney. At least I didn't see he name mentioned anywhere. Board member 'Five Wives' could probably confirm that for us.judy wrote:In my opinion the one falling pregnant from the War Rig is Rosie, the blonde one, not Capable.

There should still be a video on Youtube where someone from here who was at the Toast Event recorded footage of the interior of the BoB there.rockatansky4073 wrote:Na, not the silver one, man - Max's Interceptor.
I know the pics you mean, but there's been so much debate over whether or not that is THE actual one from the film or a quick knock up job for the promoting.
Judging by the trailer though at the beginning, looking at the single tank and the torn interior dangling down etc - i'd say that one in those photos IS the one from the movie![]()
Gotta get a look at the interior though and that won't happen till 2015

Don't know about anyone else but I've been a bit of dreamlike state since the trailer came on line. I've been pretty much obsessed with Max since I saw the MM2 trailer on TV thirty-two years ago. I've mixed feelings about this.
The bad: The lizard thing reminds me of the gopher at the intro of crystal skull, the grit of the originals seems missing (editing, sound design and cinematography) as are the roads...so no 'white line nightmares'. I guess Beyond Thunderdome lacked many of these things too. Hardy's voice sounds like a cliche. It looks like the game Motorstorm.
The good: the stunts look insane, the torture scene looks out there, Hardy looks great....and the whole thing has a hard, uncompromising feel which makes me wonder (hope) that we are looking at an R rated movie.
I hope George has turned cinema on its head forever, I was confused, excited and worried before I saw the footage...I'm still all those things but now I am convinced that whatever we get we will never forget it.
