Yes , it's finally happening , Fury Road . I saw it today on some local tv channel . That interceptor looks great , i do hope that they don't use cgi crap but do real stunts.

This one is photoshopped together from a couple of video images - not my best work, but you get the idea!

We don't have to worry about the vehicles, that's for sure! Thanks for posting this Peter!

Ok, motorheads, would a setup like that even work? Looks like they have a carb on top of the blower which should have a carb inside of it...? :? :? :?

I hope that aren't going for form over function here. I hate to say it but that engine setup just looks silly.

Thanks Peter. Great pics!

Damn, that ABC video has Miller standing in front what looks like some kind of production flow chart, but it's far too blurry to make anything out. Hopefully a clearer version of the video is made available on Youtube or somewhere.

TheDarkOne.....there will be CGI in this movie, but it most likely will be used to create the environs....desolate citiscapes....large crowds.....that kind of thing. By all accounts, the stunts themselves will be for the most part real. If anything, CGI will be used to clean them up (remove safety wires, erase tire tracks from virgin desertscapes, etc).

I see a strap holding it all together. I think they just threw some stuff together just for the photo-op.

Oh yeah, sure, it's what's called a Draw trough supercharger setup... Most like EFI "injector hats" like max's better when power's concerned. But in a future where EFI might be really difficult to obtain (let alone keep working) this might be the way to go.

But it looks like there is a tunnel ram, on top of that a supercharger and then some insane crabs with an air intake made out of truck exhaust tips. I would make sense to have an air intake higher above the vehicle to limit exposure to sand, but when following someone even that goes out of the window. I like the look of the overall vehicle a lot, rat rides are awesome! But the engine might indeed be a bit overdressed.

THIS IS THE GREATEST NEWS TO HERE IN A LONG TIME!!! And around my birthday to. This is a present in itself. As far as the vehicles go, take away the mesh on the Interceptor and it's perfect. As for the other car it's cool but not very Mad Max 2ish, but then again it's my guess that this takes place before Thunderdome and after Mad Max 2. In that case, bring'em on and heck I can't judge based on one vehicle. BUT REAL STUNTS!!!! GEORGE!!! YOU HAVEN'T LET US DOWN!!!!!!
