Hi Steve /all,


It looked like the place hadn't been painted in roughly 30 years. It would've been impossible to find if that #2 was gone or changed. Coincidently it was that black #2 that confirmed the location and where the original mag photo had been taken.......lucky it was still there!!


Its a pity we don't see more of the van in Running on Empty. Great film.

Apparently they used an XB van for the original conversion.

Found these pics on the net.....someone in QLD has built a replica of the Concorde Van. Its was on display at the 2007 Van Nationals.

Sweeeet! I think the original turbine wheels fit the era much better but these are a tasteful replacement (no bling). The cowl and lens covers reinforce the BoB DNA. This style a van was never produced in the States so it has a real unique appeal.

Mad Skitz. were you at the Van Nats this year. That van is still for sale for $10K. it would be worth it
