Ah, I see. Knowing you, if they were still around you would have them on there.

Thanks for the info. And again, the car looks great! I hate you.

Having watched the progress and attention to detail on this car Steve is getting a real quality car.

If this car is as good as gordons other work it should last a good 6 months......maybe.

Dude?!

All three of your posts have been to blast Gordon and his work. What's up with that? If you have an honest criticism of his work you should post your real name and hard facts; Not hearsay and opinion.

Hi Redd 4. I think Northern Cal is a bit far to drive it there and I don't think as of now I will be officialy entering it in shows for competition. I do plan on many cruise night, we have a lot around here on the weekends. Also Jimmy Martino and I have talked about getting his BOB and mine together for some things, He lives just minutes from me. It will be in Michigan in August for the Woodward Dream Cruise. Otherwise I will be taking it easy with her. I am already scared of some numbskull running into it.

I do have plans for many high performance upgrades next winter. A bit of a higher gear in the diff., Bulletproofing the FMX with Transgo parts including shift kit, And, are you ready? twin prochargers blowing through dual quads. Of course that may mean taking on a night job!

I also don't know why anyone would bash Gordon and Grants work. I don't have a comment on that cause I just don't understand it.

I think we are pretty much able to glean that. The question is what does he know?

Yeah, i'm sorry Chase. I had no idea that you were supplying Gordon with bluetack and self tappers for his cars. My bad.

Socko,

Other than what I've learned about Gordon here I have no association with him. He is well established as a replicar builder and as far as I know he is quite well respected. This is the first time I've heard ANYONE say a negative word about his work. I'm sure I'm not the only one who would be interested in details of shoddy workmanship. I have no doubt that his latest cars hold to a higher standard than his early creations.

It is excessively easy for a person to anonymously criticize someone's work. Gordon's name is public and internationally known. That makes him an easy target for mud slingers. I'm curious what qualifies you as a detractor? Are you a dissatisfied owner or a car he built? Are you a professional builder yourself?

If you would like to engage in an intelligent conversation and convey factual information concerning his skills that would be great. After all that is what a forum is for. For buyers to make an informed purchase it is important to hear all view points, not just glowing praise. That would be a benefit to the Mad Max community as a whole.

If all you have is snide comments and one line put downs how do you expect anyone to give you any credit?

I think he's just stirring the sh*t Chase, based on jealousy most likely.

Ignore him, 'cos he's not the type that responds to any sort of logic. We've seen his type before here.

Gordon (assuming you're still here) That looks to be a gorgeous car.

VERY, VERY WELL DONE!!!

Now all I need are 6 lousy numbers and I'll be in touch soon.

Funny, that's what I thought a forum was for. I have tried to engage you in conversation but you seem either unwilling or unable.
