Here is a picture of the car that was restored to the TLBT version; this car was the "camera car"; it had the cameras mounted inside for all of those inside perspective type shots. The American Graffiti car was the car they used for outside shots in TLBT. Below that is the American Graffiti car.

I second that question; I haven't been able to find any information on that one. I'm a big MOPAR fan, but that Challenger looked kind of gay; judging from the way Fox dressed, that would make sense. I loved the Chevy though!

Maximum overdrive is a hell of a good movie. Got it on DVD. Also Duel. That is a perfect first film of Spielberg.

I have seen Christine, Death race 2000 and The car on tv. Damn good movies to. Got Land of the dead on DivX. Good movie, but I like the Scammell of Brazil more.

Further more:

The cars that ate paris.

MM trilogie.

Race with the devil.

Drive

Gone in 60 seconds. (both) But like the old version more.

Taxi trilogie.

and probably some more I can't remember from my list.
"UNDERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" is how far you take the fence with you.

mfp559, the Bond movie you are talking about is The Man With the Golden Gun. Live and Let Die had the speedboat chase, and the car vs. plane cahse. And FYI, both movies featured the same redneck sheriff. Diamonds are Forever had the Mustang Mach 1 chase through Las Vegas. The Spy Who Loved Me had the Citroen 2CV. Octopussy had the Mercedes on the railroad tracks.

Does anyone rember a movie starring Ron Howard where he went around with his gf or new bride stealing cars? I'm sure it was a comedy, and when a car would wreck, you'd hear this silly music.

The Ron Howard film was called "Grand Theft Auto" from 1977.

It was ol Ronnie's directorial debut as well.

IMDB is your friend!

I also forgot The Cars That Ate Paris and Race With The Devil. I also saw Grand Theft Auto , It's great no plot, lets just crash cars and trucks. And lets not forget Ron Howard in Eat My Dust.
