Not a prop, double barrel

These rounds are sold as novelty items for firearms. They are not used by any "real" operators. Typically slugs, buckshot, breaching and tear gas/bean bag rounds are the only types used by Police/Mil. Also at one time flechette rounds were used but not to a large extent. There are a bunch of other types that basically amount to firecrackers launched from a gun too.

Nah, I just read the warning labels; besides, my trusty Benelli is far too nice to put funky loads in. I'm thinking that a Dragon's breath would singe the bad guy a little but not have much stopping ability; he would either get scared and run away; or be really pissed off in which case you better have a load of buckshot to back it up!

I've never really been into skeet or sporting clays but someday I wouldn't mind taking it up. My Benelli is an M1 Super 90 Tactical shotgun with a Surefire tactical flashlight forend and a pistol grip stock. There is a 14" barrel available for it; I thought about getting the short barrel but if I moved to a state that doesn't allow NFA weapons, I would have to store the gun somewhere out of state; plus the legal liability of shooting an intruder with a 14" barrel just isn't worth it; besides, I can fit two extra shells in the mag tube with my 18" tactical barrel; I would have to go to a shorter magazine with the 14". I saw a custom job once with a 10.5" barrel, but then you could only get 3 rounds in the magazine. It would be kind of awkward to put the sporting parts on my shotgun because I have ghost ring sights; however, I love my Benelli and I will probably buy a sporting version when I get around to shooting clay pigeons. I see that the prices of the M1s have gone up a fair amount since they stopped making them and replaced them with the M2s.
